These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Yum Hunt app and our website at yumhunt.app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
You must be at least eighteen years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child who will use Yum Hunt under your supervision. Yum Hunt is available wherever the App Store offers it. You confirm that the information you give us is accurate.
Yum Hunt is a shopping list app for parents and children. You can build lists from our photo catalogue, add your own products, and hand the phone to your child in the store to check items off.
We update the app regularly. Features may change or be removed as the product develops, and we will give reasonable notice of significant changes. We do our best to keep the service available, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted.
Yum Hunt is free to start. A free account includes one active shopping list, up to thirty items on it, and a single language.
Premium unlocks unlimited lists and items, a second language, and your own custom products. It is available as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, a Family yearly subscription covering up to four people, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least twenty-four hours before it ends. If you start a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
Purchases are handled by Apple or Google, not by us. To cancel a subscription or request a refund, use your App Store or Google Play account settings — we cannot cancel or refund on your behalf. Deleting your Yum Hunt account does not cancel your subscription.
You are responsible for the email address you give us and any actions taken under your account. Keep your account information accurate. Let us know if you think someone is using your access without your permission.
You agree not to:
When you send us feedback, feature suggestions, or reports of problems, you grant Yum Hunt a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use that feedback to improve the product, without owing you compensation. We will not publicly attribute feedback to you without your permission.
Yum Hunt, the mascot, the wordmark, the app, the website, and all related content are owned by Yum Hunt and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yum Hunt and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100), or the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, whichever is greater.
You can stop using Yum Hunt at any time and delete your account in Settings. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — see section 3. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, feedback license, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify users by email and update the effective date at the top of this page. If you don't agree with the changes, your remedy is to stop using the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California. You and Yum Hunt each waive any right to a jury trial. Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a small-claims action in the court where you live.
